The Data Engineer designs and builds the technical backbone of the organization’s data ecosystem. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining pipelines, databases, and architectures that enable the collection, integration, and processing of structured and unstructured data.

What Will You Do?
Build, monitor, and optimize data pipelines to support analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.
Design efficient data storage structures in SQL and NoSQL environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Integrate data from APIs, legacy systems, files, and real-time streams.
Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver clean, reliable, and analysis-ready datasets.
Implement ETL/ELT processes using modern tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.).
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are enforced throughout the lifecycle.
Contribute to the definition of best practices in data engineering, performance tuning, and monitoring
Establish and enforce rigorous engineering standards for the team, including CI/CD patterns, automated testing (unit/integration), and comprehensive technical documentation.
Mentor less experienced engineers, review code, and promote technical excellence (Senior).
Partner with the Head of Data to influence architectural decisions and long-term strategy.
Lead initiatives in automation, integration and orchestration of RPAs into data workflows at advanced levels.
What Will You Bring to the Table?
Bachelor’s in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Python, Scala, or Java (must write clean, maintainable, production-ready code).
Expert-level SQL (window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
Advanced proficiency in Spark, Airflow, dbt, and Kafka.
Experience with AWS/Azure data stacks, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Technical knowledge of Fabric, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks, as well as NoSQL internals.3–5 years independently designing and optimizing data workflows.
Collaboration, analytical thinking, results orientation, leadership in technical discussions.
