What is my role like? 
We're looking for a senior Social Media Manager to own our presence around major U.S. sports leagues, NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB, across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a content calendar built around the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB schedules and storylines

• Produce and edit vertical video content (Reels, Shorts) featuring picks, predictions, and best bets, optimized for each platform's SEO and retention practices

• Cover live games, in-game moments, and breaking news relevant to lines and picks in real time

• Write sharp, high-converting copy for picks, predictions, captions, and community posts across all channels

• Own social as a performance channel: track and report on traffic, click-through, and conversion from social into picks and predictions content

• Test and optimize formats, posting times, and CTAs based on performance data, not just engagement

• Ensure all promotional and betting-related content complies with applicable U.S. state-level gambling advertising rules and each platform's betting ad policies prior to publishing

Requirements

✓ Working knowledge of U.S. sports betting advertising regulations (state-level)
✓ Strong knowledge of NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB (schedules, storylines, betting markets)
✓ Hands-on experience producing and editing vertical video content
✓ Ability to publish consistently daily across multiple channels, building and sticking to content schedules
✓ Strong, direct, and assertive copywriting skills
✓ Prior experience in sports betting, casino, or affiliate marketing
✓ Track record managing social media with a performance/growth mindset (not just brand awareness), ideally with 1+ year in betting/casino/affiliate
✓ Comfort working with performance metrics: CTR, conversion, traffic-to-affiliate

Preferred Qualifications

• A personal channel or online community built independently around sports or sports betting

• Genuine passion for American sports and sports betting

• Experience with editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)

• Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, and UTM/analytics tools

• Experience with affiliate or performance marketing funnels
